Role Overview:

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our experienced development team to contribute to various aspects of our software projects. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in production software development, unit testing, system automation, and infrastructure software and tools development. Your work will support and enhance our automation processes, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update EUC repository across all of Client LFO functions as needed 
  • Support preparation and consolidation of governance related activities across all Client LFO functions 
  • Apply knowledge of the business, products, or services to identify potential documentation, process, or control gaps and drive effective remediation. 
  • Maintain Finance-owned policies and procedures in adherence to those requirements, as appropriate. 
  • Support facilitation and governance of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA, i.e. Risk & Control Self-Assessment). 
  • Work effectively in a rapidly evolving risk and control environment with limited direction to meet high priority deadlines. 
  • Assist with coordinating materials/responses to regulatory and/or internal audit requests. 
  • Support Transformation efforts as needed. Monitor and track deliverables to ensure timely completion.

  • Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in accounting and/or finance 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial, analytical, and reporting tools 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Excel and PowerPoints skills preferred 
  • Demonstrated analytical skills 
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills 
  • Have MCA, Quality Assurance, and or internal audit experience within a financial services organization. 
  • Have experience supporting program development and implementation, including policies, standards, and procedures development and maturity. 
  • Have experience supporting complex high-priority efforts, involving multiple stakeholders and competing needs, which affect the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. 
  • Demonstrate communication and diplomacy skills required to guide, influence, and sway others, in particular colleagues and stakeholders in other areas. 
  • Have experience facilitating and organizing meetings. 

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
