About the role:

The Software Engineer will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of technologies and will work on industry-leading platforms. The Engineer must have a passion for writing quality and testable code and enjoy working in a continuous delivery environment. The Engineer needs to be able to operate across the entire SDLC of product development, including requirements gathering; functional and technical design; development; user acceptance testing; release management; and production support. The Engineer will work on full stack development projects and provide guidance on building high quality, scalable solutions. 

Responsibilities:

Work independently managing several large components or complex projects

Work closely with colleagues to collaborate on technical solutions

Passion for growing your skills and coming up with solutions to interesting problems

Produce high-quality results by contributing heavily to team projects that have a significant impact on the business.

Assist support teams and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Solid knowledge of Java, C#, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript (1 to 3 years of experience)

Building web applications with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, etc.

Experience working with relational databases (e.g. Sybase, Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)

Experience developing and maintaining RESTful web services

Write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability

Knowledge of NoSQL DB (e.g. MongoDB)

Preferred Qualifications:

The Git workflow, including pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD systems

Experience working with a wide variety of platforms and frameworks including NodeJS and Spring Boot

Experience architecting and designing complex, maintainable applications

Ability to teach and mentor more junior software developers

Ability to conduct high-quality, constructive code reviews
