About the role:
You will be responsible to organize and conduct software testing based on functional, non functional and interface specification requirements. Responsible for preparing system artefacts, developing and implementing quality control tests that ensure product quality & efficiency, following up with defect fixes with development teams, support users in acceptance testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Maintain test cases according to requirements acceptance criteria to ensure no gaps in test coverage Clearly document defects found during testing in bug tracking system and track it to closure to ensure quality deliverable to end usersMust communicate well, Track testing progress and write accurate test reports in the defines format to ensure organization/Project guidelines are achieved Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other teams to analyses requirements and resolve software issues Create test plans for various types of regression, integration, Load & Performance and UAT tests Perform smoke testing, functional testing, front end testing, regression testing and also support client acceptance testing Design and develop automation tests to improve regression test scope of the software release and product UAT Defect Analysis to triage the occurrence and capture the lesson learnt to mitigate this in the futureQualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Honors in Engineering/CS/Mathematics/Sciences/Commerce or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience. Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle including Requirements analysis, Test Planning, Test case development, Test environment setup, Test Execution, Closure. Hands on experience in developing automation scripts and synthetic transactions using Selenium / Appium and Cucumber will be added advantage. Experience in Disaster recovery testing (crash/recovery) in distributed environments (failover strategies, messaging, streaming), Security testing (TLS secured channels, authentication, authorization, session handling), Usability testing of web portal (response times) is an added advantage Experience in testing mobile apps and websites using cloud platforms like Brower stack Experience in monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes is an added advantageGather and present testing metrics and testing activities for the projects to key stakeholders is good to have. Must have good analytical skills and must be a good learner of new business processes, systems and should focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, test automation.Apply before the link expires !!!
