About the role:
We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer - Backend (Java), to join the development team responsible for the development of backend components and Integration of the Pointillist Customer Experience Analytics platform.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
Develop and deploy highly available, fault-tolerant software that will help drive improvements towards the features, reliability, performance, and efficiency of GENESYS Cloud/Pointillist. Work with development partners to shape the architecture, design, and implementation of new and existing systems to enhance their reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability. Have a desire to learn new things. Design and implement major changes and new features using Java. Leverage AWS technologies for the delivery of solutions is a must. Work as part of a cross-functional Agile development team. Actively review code and provide peer feedback. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve pain points as well as evangelize best practices. Troubleshoot production issues and come up with solutions as required. Gain an understanding of Pointillist UI and development practices. Stay up to date on current technology trends, perform POCs, & make recommendations for the adoption of new technology.
