What You Will Do:

  • Assist in the design and development of CES (Connected Solutions Enterprise – Coresync, Copper, and Fiber solutions for data, smart building & voice) products. Under the supervision of senior engineers, you will help ensure designs meet product performance specifications according to Molex standards, industry standards, or customer specifications.
  • Support sustaining engineering projects such as Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Work Requests (EWR). You will also gain exposure to the Product Development Process (PDP) and assist in documentation, design reviews, 3D modeling, 2D drawings, and technical documents.
  • Participate in design verification activities, learning tools such as DVP, DFMEA, and tolerance analysis, under the guidance of senior team members. You will also assist in product testing and learn about compliance processes like UL, CE, REACH, RoHS, and others.
  • Collaborate with global teams and departments including Operations, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Quality. You’ll support interactions with manufacturing and suppliers, learning about Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and working towards production.
  • Gain exposure to quality checks and continuous improvement initiatives, working with cross-functional teams to learn about Lean practices and product improvements.
  • Engage in global interactions, occasionally working with teams from the USA, India, Australia, Poland, and China. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate different time zones.

  • Who You Are:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (GTTC, NTTF also acceptable).

  • What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Eager to learn and develop skills in 3D CAD modeling, SAP, and PLM systems (training provided).
  • Understanding of plastic and sheet metal design is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with global teams.
