Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Server Provisioning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, configuration, and basic management of both physical and virtual servers. This position is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of operating systems, cloud platforms, and basic troubleshooting skills, looking to grow their expertise in server management and provisioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Server Setup & Configuration: Assist in provisioning and configuring physical & virtual servers. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve basic server issues, escalate when needed. Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers to support day-to-day server operations. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of server setups, configurations, & processes. Learning & Growth: Stay up to date with new technologies & develop skills in automation, cloud environments, & virtualization.Required Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of server operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux). Understanding of networking concepts, storage, and virtualization. Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Eagerness to learn and grow in the server provisioning and management field.Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to tools like VMware, Hyper-V, or cloud provisioning systems. Knowledge of basic security practices for servers.Soft Skills:
